RESPONSIBILITIES Employee Engagement & Relations Assist in planning for the staff welfare programs and engagement activities to boost morale and retention. Foster a positive work environment through timely communication, feedback, and conflict resolution. Promote staff engagement through internal communication and wellness initiatives. Training & Development Coordinate staff development programs and training needs. Maintain records of staff professional certifications, training courses, and refresher courses. Liaise with agencies (e.g., MOH, AIC, SNB) to ensure staff compliance with required certifications . Compensations & Benefits Assist in payroll processes, including payroll summary preparation, overtime checking, submissions, etc. Assist in computing tax clearance for resigning employees and other wage-related submissions. Assist in handling insurance claims such as GH&S claim and work injury claim. Talent Acquisition Manage the full recruitment cycle, including manpower sourcing, interviewing, selection, onboarding, and orientation. Coordinate recruitment for both local and foreign employees, including work pass administration where applicable. Partner with hiring managers to fulfil manpower requirements and ensure timely hiring. Support employer branding and recruitment outreach initiatives. HR Operations Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding. Support performance appraisal, confirmation, contract renewal, and exit management processes. Provide HR support and guidance to managers on employee relations, disciplinary matters, and HR policies. QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications & Job Requirements Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or related field. At least 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in the healthcare, community care, or nursing home sector. Proven experience in recruitment, training administration, employee engagement, and HR operations. Experience in handling employee relations and disciplinary matters. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence to engage employees at all levels. Outgoing, proactive, resourceful, and able to organise staff welfare and engagement activities independently. Creative with the ability to design simple posters and communication materials using Canva, PowerPoint, or similar tools. Good knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act and HR best practices. Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
