Senior/Accounts Assistant (Ar/Gl)

COMPANY DESCRIPTION Located on Jurong Island, the petrochemical hub of Singapore, SRC operates a refinery that is capable of processing 290,000 barrels of crude oil per day to produce fuel products and chemical feedstocks that are supplied to domestic markets and overseas export markets under the brand labels of its shareholders. RESPONSIBILITIES Execute General Accounting and Accounts Receivable processes & procedures so as to support effective & efficient functioning of accounting activities Ensure timely closing of monthly and year end closing such as preparation of monthly schedules and variance analysis as well as annual financial report Ensure prompt billings to customers and accurate filing of Corporate Income Tax returns and GST returns as well as statistics returns Ensure compliance in accordance with regulatory, SRC ISO policies and procedures QUALIFICATIONS Minimum ITE qualification or LCCI Level 3 in Accounting OTHER INFORMATION At least 5 years of relevant experience Experience with SAP would be an added advantage Able to work independently with minimum supervision and is a team player.
