Process Engineer

We are assisting our client in searching for a process engineer. Job Summary Lead process optimization and troubleshooting initiatives to enhance production efficiency and safety. Drive project start-ups and equipment checks while championing operational excellence through training and SOP development. Responsibilities Analyze plant processes by taking precise measurements and interpreting data to implement solutions that optimize production safely and cost-effectively Troubleshoot process issues, conduct investigations, and implement improvements to enhance operational performance Lead project activities including start-up operations and pre-commissioning equipment performance checks to ensure readiness and reliability Develop and deliver training programs and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to promote Operations Excellence among production team members. Requirements: · Degree in Chemical Engineering. · At least 3 years’ experience in process engineering and working in a chemical plant. · Planning and organizing skills, ability to coordinate multiple tasks. · Possess a positive attitude, strong desire to learn, good interpersonal skills, analytical mindset, diligent and with a high level of tenacity. · Strong Written and verbal communication skills. · Ability to persuade others to change existing practices. · Strong attention to detail. · Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems. · Proficient with computer and information technology. · Knowledge of process engineering software systems. · Familiarity with applicable health and safety regulations.
