About the Role We are looking for a nurturing and motivated teacher who is keen to specialise in working with children and youths with visual impairment. This role is ideal for educators who: Have teaching experience and want to deepen their impact, or Are seeking a meaningful career shift into special education. Training, mentorship, and a structured professional development pathway will be provided. Key Responsibilities Deliver individualised and group instruction to children and youths with visual impairment Plan and prepare structured, meaningful lessons based on assessed needs Conduct assessments and write progress reports Develop and implement Individualised Education Programmes (IEPs) Collaborate with parents, schools, and professionals to support learners Assist schools with access arrangements, assistive technology, and educational planning Participate in outreach programmes and community events Maintain accurate documentation and student records Who We Are Looking For Degree holder in education or a related field 1–3 years of teaching experience preferred (mainstream or special education) Fresh graduates with strong interest may be considered Good command of English; additional languages are a plus Able to work well with children with special needs and their families Committed, empathetic, and eager to learn Comfortable working independently and in a team Other Requirements Willing to work occasional Saturdays (with advance notice) Able to commute across Singapore Open to pursuing formal training or postgraduate studies in vision education (supported by the organisation) What We Offer Structured onboarding and mentorship Sponsored professional training and development pathway Opportunity to specialise in a highly meaningful and niche field Supportive and mission‑driven team culture Competitive salary commensurate with experience Opportunity to attend overseas training and conferences Part-time/Full-time contract positions are also available Application Process Submit your updated resume Shortlisted candidates will complete a written assessment during the first interview stage
