About this role
The Role Based in Mount Elizabeth Hospital (Orchard), the Nurse will assist to oversee, monitor, evaluate and maintain an effective Infection Control program. Responsibilities Ensure that the hospital Infection Control (IC) program is effectively implemented. Act as a key resource person between Management, Medical Staff and Ministry of Health for IC activities. Review and confirm records of healthcare–associated infections through analysis of trends and report findings, and implement corrective/preventive measures accordingly. Provide updates and reports on IC matters to the relevant Committee, Ministry of Health, Management and as directed. Ensure that all IC practices meet accreditation Other duties as assigned Requirements Diploma / Degree in Nursing Registered with Singapore Nursing Board preferred At least 4 years of relevant experience in infection control Completed the Asia Pacific Society of Infection Control (APSIC) or other recognized course in Infection Control Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
