Principal Consultant

Lead requirements gathering and functional specification documentation (BRD/FSD) for enterprise data warehouse and regulatory reporting initiatives across Wholesale Banking domains including Loans, Trade Finance, Treasury, and Cash Management. Perform end-to-end system analysis, impact assessment, and source-to-target data mapping (STM), translating complex business requirements into scalable data solutions aligned with enterprise data architecture and FSLDM standards. Design and support data warehouse solutions using Teradata, SQL, Hadoop, Hive, and Spark technologies, including data modelling, ETL development, data marts, reporting layers, and data integration frameworks. Conduct data profiling, reconciliation, validation, and root-cause analysis to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with regulatory and management reporting requirements. Support SIT, UAT, production deployment, and post-implementation activities. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, risk teams, finance users, and technology teams to deliver regulatory reporting solutions and other governance initiatives within the banking sector. Drive data architecture and analytics initiatives by leveraging advanced SQL, Python, UNIX Shell Scripting, and database technologies (Teradata, Oracle, PostgreSQL) to optimize reporting performance, enhance data governance, and support strategic business decision-making.
