Position A Head of Student Life / Principal Education Adviser (CPE) position may become available for the 2026 academic year. Key Responsibilities The main responsibilities of the CPE fall into three areas: the school’s educational policy, student monitoring, and the organisation of student life. In collaboration with teaching and guidance staff, the CPE also contributes to advising students on their academic and career pathways. Under the supervision of the Deputy Principals, the CPE will: Manage a team of secondary school education assistants. Oversee student life in coordination with the two other CPEs. Ensure compliance with the school’s internal regulations and contribute to their development. Monitor student punctuality and attendance. Liaise with families regarding student life matters. Manage student movements and non-teaching periods. Implement appropriate measures to ensure student safety. Share relevant information with teachers, educational staff, and leadership regarding student behaviour and activity. Implement necessary interventions to address student difficulties. Monitor classes, including participation in class councils. Develop relationships with students both collectively and individually. Organise student consultation and participation bodies (student representatives, CVL, school council, etc.). Support the organisation of student-led projects. Contribute to the Health, Citizenship and Environment Education Committee. Participate in class placement for the new academic year. Provide personalised student follow-up in liaison with families and contribute to guidance planning. Contribute to the functioning, development, and reputation of the school (projects, events, etc.). Work collaboratively with the two other CPEs. Chair certain class councils for assigned levels.
