Job Summary This role offers Project Engineers or those with project coordination experience a pathway into project management by leading engineering projects from initiation to completion, managing schedules, budgets, risks, and client relationships to ensure successful delivery. Responsibilities Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects to meet defined objectives Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to support timely delivery Monitor project progress and adjust plans to ensure completion within agreed timelines and budgets Identify project risks and collaborate to implement effective mitigation strategies Coordinate communication and activities among engineering, design, construction teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients Ensure project deliverables meet contractual, engineering, and quality standards Prepare and present project reports to management and stakeholders to communicate progress and issues Manage client relationships by addressing project concerns and resolving issues professionally Track project costs and resource utilisation to optimize efficiency Participate in project reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Foster teamwork and collaboration across departments to enhance project outcomes Preferred competencies and qualifications Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related discipline Previous experience as a Project Engineer or in engineering/project coordination roles Background in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering and/or relevant industry experience Shipyard Supervisors Safety Course (SSSC) certificate or equivalent Workplace Safety and Health Management certification in Marine Industry Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with project management software is advantageous Willingness to travel locally and overseas as required by project assignments Other Information Working Hours Monday to Friday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Saturday: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm 5.5-day work week Benefits Medical Insurance Performance Bonus Career progression into senior project management roles Opportunities for local and international project exposure
