Underwriting Analyst (Property Insurance)

As part of the Operations Team, the role supports Regional Underwriters. 5-10 years of relevant experience in the Insurance industry Knowledge and understanding of Property or Energy Insurance is mandatory Ability to manage a small team Certification in Business Process Improvement, eg-Six Sigma. Strong user skills in Microsoft Office Package (special focus on Excel and PowerPoint) Track Record in managing demanding stakeholders Excellent communication skills - reading, written and verbal Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Key Responsibilities: To support operations activities to accurately reflect the terms and conditions of business written in the systems To mainly manage property deals in close collaboration with the Underwriter To support the Underwriting team with renewal preparation (deal analysis of renewal accounts) and endorsement triaging and preparation To prepare and issue documents (binders, policies, endorsements, and certificates) to customers To issue invoices where required, including Insurance Premium Tax calculations To be in contact with customers and brokers regularly and attend customer and broker meetings
