Position Summary The Senior Institutional FX Sales Director will be responsible for developing and expanding JB Drax’s Financial Institutions client franchise across Asia-Pacific, with a primary focus on banks, regional financial institutions,and other regulated market participants. The role is a senior front office business development position requiring extensive experience in institutional foreign exchange markets, an established network of senior decision makers within financial institutions, and the ability to originate and develop long-term institutional relationships that generate sustainable trading flow for the firm. Working closely with JB Drax’s global teams, the individual will identify new business opportunities, develop bespoke execution solutions for institutional clients and act as the primary commercial contact for Financial Institutions throughout the client lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute JB Drax’s Financial Institutions sales strategy across Asia-Pacific. Originate new institutional client relationships with banks, NBFI's other regulated financial institutions. Leverage an established network of senior market participants to expand the firm’s institutional client base. Promote JB Drax’s agency execution capabilities across Foreign Exchange products, including Spot, Forwards, Swaps, NDFs and related FX execution services. Manage the full client acquisition process including prospecting, relationship development, commercial negotiation and onboarding. Work closely with internal trading and execution teams to deliver tailored execution solutions aligned with client trading requirements. Maintain regular dialogue with senior treasury, trading and sales personnelwithin client organisations to identify new business opportunities andstrengthen long-term partnerships. Provide market intelligence and client feedback to management to support product development and strategic business initiatives. Represent JB Drax at industry conferences, client meetings and institutional networking events throughout the region. Ensure all client activity is conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies. Collaborate with global colleagues to introduce cross-border client opportunities and expand regional coverage. Experience & Qualifications Significant institutional Foreign Exchange sales experience gained within aninternational investment bank. Demonstrated track record of originating and growing Financial Institutionrelationships across Asia-Pacific. Deep understanding of institutional FX market structure, execution workflowsand liquidity provision. Strong commercial network among banks, treasury desks and institutionalmarket participants. Ability to engage directly with senior decision makers including Heads of FX,Treasury, Markets and Institutional Sales/Trading. Excellent understanding of FX products including Spot, Forwards, Swaps and broader institutional execution services. Proven ability to generate new business revenues through strategic client acquisition and relationship management. Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently while coordinating closely with global sales and trading teams. University Degree in Finance or related subjects Salary Range SGD 240,000 - 280,000 per annum, plus performance linked variable commission.
