Site QS Engineer– Electrical

Job Summary We are seeking a Safety Officer with a background in Electrical Engineering to maintain high health, safety, and environmental standards across our site operations while supporting the contracts team with project documentation, tendering, and cost estimation. Key Responsibilities Safety & Compliance: Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies on site to ensure full compliance with regulatory and project standards. Site Inspections & Risk Assessment: Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations; conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for site personnel. Contracts & Tendering Support: Assist the Manager in reviewing, preparing, and handling general M&E contracts, tender documentation, and safety submittals. Cost Estimating: Prepare initial budget costs or estimates for safety resources, equipment, and contract variations as instructed. Requirements Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience working in an M&E Subcontractor environment. Certifications: Valid Safety Officer Certification / WSH Officer registration preferred. Solid knowledge of M&E site safety protocols and local labor/HSE regulations. Basic understanding of contract terms, tendering processes, and quantity estimation. Strong communication and organizational skills.
