Job Summary Inspect parts to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality standards. Remove imperfections from metal, plastic, or machined parts using hand tools and measuring instruments, following engineering drawings and work instructions. Responsibilities Inspect parts to detect defects and verify adherence to quality standards and specifications Follow detailed specifications and tolerance limits to ensure product quality Report damaged or non-conforming parts promptly for corrective action Remove burns, sharp edges, and excess material from metal, plastic, or machined parts to meet quality requirements Use hand tools such as files, scrapers, grinders, and deburring knives to finish parts accurately Operate measuring instruments like calipers and gauges to verify part dimensions Interpret engineering drawings and work instructions to guide inspection and finishing tasks Job Requirements Familiarity with hand tools such as files, scrapers, grinders, and deburring knives Basic understanding of engineering drawings and work instructions
