Structural Steel Engineer

Job Description Design,analyze, and review structural steel systems in accordance with projectspecifications and relevant codes and standards. Prepare structural calculations, connection designs, engineering drawings, and technical documentation. Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, and internal project teams throughout the project lifecycle. Review fabrication drawings, shop drawings, and material specifications to ensure technical accuracy. Provide technical support during fabrication, erection, and site installation activities. Conduct site inspections to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and quality standards. Resolve engineering and construction issues promptly while maintaining project schedules. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and statutory requirements. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline Minimum 2 years of experience in structural steel engineering , steel fabrication, or steel construction projects. Proficientin structural analysis and design software such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ETABS,Tekla Structures, AutoCAD , or equivalent. Strong understanding of structural steel design codes (Eurocode, BS, AISC, or relevant standards) Experience coordinating with fabrication workshops and site construction teams will be an advantage. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
