Working Hours: Mon - Fri: 8:30am - 5:30pm Company Transport: Pickup & Dropoff at Sembawang MRT Job Summary The Warehouse Assistant Manager will lead daily warehouse operations, ensuring safety compliance, inventory accuracy, and quality control. You will supervise staff, coordinate with stakeholders, and analyze performance data to drive operational improvements. Responsibilities Operation Leadership: Lead daily warehouse operations by assisting the Warehouse Manager in planning and executing activities that comply with safety protocols and optimize process efficiency. Inventory Control: Monitor and control inventory levels by implementing procedures that minimize loss and ensure stock accuracy and availability. Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor warehouse staff by assigning tasks and evaluating performance to maintain a productive team environment. Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure items meet standards before delivery. Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goods, resolving operational issues proactively. Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by conducting regular safety drills and training for staff. Reporting & Analytics: Generate and analyze warehouse performance reports to identify improvement opportunities and recommend operational enhancements. Preferred Competencies and Qualifications Strong leadership and team management skills demonstrated through supervising warehouse staff and driving team performance. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities applied to managing warehouse activities and inventory control. Proficiency in inventory management software to monitor stock levels and streamline warehouse processes. Effective problem-solving skills used to address operational challenges and maintain quality standards. Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory and quality control.
