About this role
Responsibilities • Responsible for daily infrastructure operations, incident management, server administration, system maintenance, and ensuring compliance with banking security and operational standards. • Perform daily infrastructure operations and BAU support. • Monitor systems, investigate alerts, and resolve incidents within SLA. • Support server build, configuration, deployment, and maintenance activities. • Execute system patching, upgrades, and approved change requests. • Perform on-site and remote support for OS / middleware / network troubleshooting • Assist in incident investigation and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). • Maintain operational documents, SOPs, and runbooks. • Ensure compliance with bank security policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards. • Coordinate with client, vendor, and internal support teams for issue resolution and service delivery. • Any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in information technology/information systems/computer science or its equivalent • 4–7 years of experience in Infrastructure Support, System Administration, or System Engineering with relevant skill set. • Good understanding of Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes. • Ability to work effectively in a high-availability, mission-critical production environment. • Experience in software configuration design & installation in any mission critical system implementation projects or strong will to expand the capability for system designing area. • Knowledge in OS clustering setup / troubleshooting & knowledge in SAN Network • Technical requirements: o OS: Windows Server and Linux (RHEL) o Virtualization: VMware (ESXi / Virtual environments) o Database (preferred): Microsoft SQL Server o Middleware : IBM MQ, Connect:Direct, BizTalk o Familiarity with: OS/Database hardening (security baseline), Vulnerability Assessment / remediation, • Good-to-have skills: - Linux and Middleware (IBM MQ / Connect:Direct / Veritas cluster ) experience - Monitoring tools (JP1, Solarwinds), Backup systems, Basic Networking concepts. • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Proactive personality, Team player/contributor • Strong verbal, written communication skills • Strong willingness to learn new technology and skills • Prior working experience in the Japanese Company is an advantage • Experience supporting Banking or Financial Services environments is highly preferred. • Exposure to payment systems and financial transaction platforms is an advantage.
