Accountant

About Us Juno Pacific Pte Ltd is a manufacturer and distributor of Korean food products, supplying leading FMCG retailers and foodservice customers across Asia. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of accounting functions and contribute to the Company's day-to-day financial operations. Key Responsibilities As an Accountant, your responsibilities will include: Maintain full sets of accounts and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reports. Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations and supporting schedules. Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. Process payments and receipts and ensure timely settlement of supplier invoices and collection of trade receivables. Liaise with banks on banking matters, including trade financing facilities such as Trust Receipts (TR) and Letters of Credit (LC), where applicable. Prepare GST returns and assist with statutory reporting requirements. Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. Monitor inventory-related accounting transactions and reconciliations. Support external auditors, tax agents and other stakeholders during audits and statutory filings. Maintain proper accounting records and documentation in accordance with company policies. Participate in process improvement initiatives and undertake other finance-related duties as assigned. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline. At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience. Experience in preparing full sets of accounts and financial reporting. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills. Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities. The following will be an advantage: Experience in the FMCG, trading or distribution industry. Familiarity with ERP or accounting software. Exposure to trade financing (Trust Receipts and Letters of Credit). Experience in budgeting, forecasting or inventory accounting.
