Duties & Responsibilities Assist department head to controls and monitors departmental costs on an ongoing basis to ensure performance against budget Provides support on daily operations and mise en place Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest or internal customer comment and other relevant information Establishes and maintains effective employee working relationships Attends and participates in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled Attends and participates in training sessions as scheduled Ensure that all relevant buffet / display set-ups are prepared ahead of guest’s arrival and in adherence with hotel standards Communicates politely and display courtesy to guests and internal customers Assists with the preparation, presentation, decoration and storage of dishes Attends and participates in training sessions as scheduled Prepares in advance food, beverage, material and equipment needed for the service Cleans and re-sets working area Ensure that uniforms are always clean and tidy Performs related duties and special projects as assigned Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements Qualifications & Requirements With 1 year’s related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
