About this role

Assist the Project Manager in planning and coordinating project works. Review mechanical drawings, specifications and contract requirements. Coordinate site activities with clients, consultants and subcontractors. Supervise mechanical installation works at project sites. Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings. Monitor daily work progress and project schedule. Prepare and update short-term work programmes. Identify site issues and propose suitable technical solutions. Prepare shop drawings and coordinate drawing submissions. Prepare material and equipment technical submissions. Prepare method statements and support risk assessment preparation. Raise RFIs for unclear drawings or technical requirements. Follow up on consultant comments and submission approvals. Coordinate material requirements with the procurement team. Monitor equipment and material delivery schedules. Check delivered materials against approved specifications. Arrange inspections with consultants and clients. Coordinate testing and commissioning activities. Ensure defects and incomplete works are rectified promptly. Prepare daily, weekly or monthly progress reports. Maintain proper site records, photographs and inspection documents. Assist in monitoring variation works and additional scope. Assist in preparing as-built drawings and O&M manuals. Support project handover and Defects Liability Period works. Ensure works comply with quality and workplace safety requirements. Attend project, technical and coordination meetings when required
