Overview A leading German engineering and advanced technology solutions company is seeking an IT Operations Manager to oversee IT service delivery across the APAC region. Supporting a complex, multi-site business environment, this role is responsible for ensuring reliable, efficient, and business-aligned IT operations while partnering closely with regional business leaders, corporate IT teams, and external service providers. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT operations leader to drive service excellence, operational improvements, and the consistent delivery of enterprise IT services across the region. Responsibilities As the IT Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality and performance of IT services across the assigned region, ensuring they meet business expectations and established service levels. You will serve as the primary point of contact between regional business stakeholders, IT Business Partners, Corporate IT delivery teams, and external vendors to ensure effective communication and alignment. You will manage regional IT budget planning and forecasting, oversee invoice approvals in accordance with internal processes, and ensure business requirements are appropriately captured through the global IT demand management process. The role also leads service escalations, complaint resolution, and problem management initiatives, driving sustainable corrective actions while collaborating with regional and global teams. In addition, this role will champion operational excellence by promoting continuous improvement and supporting the consistent adoption of corporate IT standards, processes, and best practices across the region. Requirements You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, together with solid experience in enterprise IT operations and service delivery. You have a strong understanding of ITIL principles, IT demand management, budgeting processes, and regional IT service management within a multinational environment. You are an effective communicator with proven experience building relationships across business and technical stakeholders, and are comfortable operating within complex, matrixed organizations. You possess strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, particularly in managing service escalations and driving issue resolution. Experience supporting a geographically distributed enterprise environment, ideally across 50 or more sites, will be highly valued. You also bring broad knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure and services, including networking, cloud technologies, Microsoft 365, end-user computing, and business applications. A well-organized approach, results-oriented mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement are essential. This role requires flexibility to travel across the region for site support.
