Workplace Safety Health Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES: To be able to effectively assess risk impact of project activities and issue Safety Stand Down when deemed necessary. Dealing with authorities, staffs, client’s representatives, public, neighbours and other interested parties on matters related to safety & health. Conduct daily safety inspections and compile all relevant reports and records. Conduct regular inspection and see to it that person responsible for the NC recorded or raised by interested parties are informed to perform corrective actions with photos evidence of closure. Conduct accident / incident investigations and recommendations on corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of all corrective actions taken Ensure reporting of incident comply with legal requirement. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Project Manager. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 5 years of experience as Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO). Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), Singapore. Candidates with prior experience in HDB Home Improvement Programme (HIP) projects will be preferred.
