Civil Engineer (Building Construction)

Responsibilities Develop and implement engineering strategies to optimize construction project outcomes and align with company goals Monitor and verify progress of paper documentation and on-site construction activities to ensure project milestones are met Conduct project safety briefings to enforce compliance with safety standards and promote a secure work environment Manage materials ordering and usage to control costs and minimize waste throughout construction phases Supervise construction teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and timely completion of tasks Drive improvements in work quantity and quality to enhance overall company performance and client satisfaction Ensure all structures are constructed safely and with maximum structural integrity according to engineering specifications Report project status, challenges, and achievements regularly to the Director and Project Manager Coordinate and communicate effectively with consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate project progress Perform miscellaneous duties and ad hoc tasks as required to support project and organizational needs Required competencies and certifications Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil & Structural Engineering Minimum 1 to 5 years of experience in the construction industry
