Cabling Technician

Job Responsibilities Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot fibre optic and data cabling systems in offices, commercial buildings, and data centres. Perform rack and stack installation of network and IT equipment, including servers, switches, and routers. Carry out cable routing, equipment mounting, drilling, and other site installation works. Assist in basic data centre operations and maintenance activities. Conduct monthly sanity checks, asset verification, and stock-taking of equipment and materials. Ensure all work is completed according to project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. Requirements Minimum 1–2 years of experience in fibre optic and data cabling installation, data centre operations, or related technical work. Knowledge of fibre splicing, structured cabling, cable termination, and testing. Physically fit and able to perform manual work, including lifting equipment, climbing ladders, and working at heights. Responsible, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
