About this role

Job Description Lead the entire workshop team and manage daily workshop operations to ensure smooth delivery Plan, schedule, and monitor all maintenance and repair works to ensure they are completed on time and meet quality standards Manage inventory of spare parts to ensure adequate stock levels Oversee and allocate workshop resources efficiently to optimize workflow and minimize downtime Monitor workload and performance of workshop staff to ensure productivity and quality of work Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and industry protocols in the workshop Ensure proper documentation for all repair and servicing works completed, including detailed records of parts used Develop and maintain the competency of the workshop team through ongoing training, development, and mentoring Act as the point of contact for government-related queries at the workshop (eg. worker safety etc.) Address any customer complaints related to workshop services Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management Requirements Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Min. 10 years of experience in managing a large-scale heavy vehicles workshop is preferred Strong leadership and team management skills Good knowledge of truck maintenance, repair processes, and spare parts management Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
