Job Description & Requirements This position requires to lead and manage existing businesses and develop new businesses for the company as a Sales Manager. Job responsibilities - Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the responsible sales team/ departments - Proven track record in experience doing business in Asia Pacific, offshore trading and overseas corporate account management. - Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close - Proven track record in managing strong long-lasting customer and supplier relationships. - To collect and analyse market information to plan business strategy, manage processes and develop sales budget. - Lead and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence - Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status locally and oversea - Prepare monthly and yearly department financial and sales report of responsible departments - Monitor deposit and remittance of customer, supplier payment - Analysis customer and supplier’s financial condition - Recruitment of appropriate human resource for business expansion Requirements - Bachelor’s degree - Minimum 5 years’ experience in a managerial capacity to mentor, coach and people management of responsible department’s subordinate. - Minimum 10 years’ experience in business development within the chemical, natural resources, and/or energy industries. - Minimum 5years’ Experience in trade operations (import/export, brokerage transactions, handling Import/Export Letters of Credit, and negotiations with banks and clients) - Knowledge and experience in trade finance within international trade, as well as practical experience in managing credit and foreign exchange risks with overseas business partners - Ability to draft and review various English-language contracts (sales contracts, master transaction agreements, etc.) and memorandums of understanding, as well as negotiate terms with business partners- Fluent inwritten and spoken in English. - Fluent in written and spoken in Japanese(JLPT N1 level) to liaise effectively through written business letters, business contract, conference/meeting, emails, phone calls with Japan HQ, customer, supplier. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to positively interact with staff and external party. - Meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
