About this role

We are looking for an HR Executive to support the HR Department in day-to-day Human Resources operations. This role involves assisting with recruitment, employee records management, payroll administration, and other HR-related activities, while ensuring processes are carried out smoothly and in compliance with Singapore employment laws and company policies. The ideal candidate should be able to handle assigned HR functions independently while working closely with the HR Manager to ensure compliance with Singapore employment legislation and organisational policies. Key Responsibilities HR Operations & Employee Support Manage day-to-day HR operations and administrative activities. Serve as the first point of contact for employee enquiries relating to HR policies, benefits, leave, and employment matters. Support the implementation and communication of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives. Ensure HR processes are carried out accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. Payroll, Compensation & Benefits Support the monthly payroll process by preparing and verifying payroll information. Administer employee benefits, leave records, claims, and other HR transactions. Assist with annual compensation exercises and statutory submissions, including IR8A, CPF, and government-related claims. Ensure compliance with MOM regulations and other statutory requirements. Recruitment & Onboarding Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer administration. Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documentation. Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth employee experience. Support recruitment initiatives such as career fairs, employer branding, and internship programmes where applicable. Learning & Development & Employee Engagement Coordinate training registrations, maintain training records, and monitor training budgets where required. Support performance appraisal exercises and employee engagement initiatives. Assist in organising staff events, wellness programmes, and recognition activities. HR Records & HRIS Management Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee personal files (P-files) and HRIS records. Process employee lifecycle transactions, including confirmations, transfers, contract renewals, promotions, and exits. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with data protection and confidentiality requirements. HR Functional Support Provide administrative support across HR functions such as compensation and benefits, performance appraisal, training, and employee engagement activities. Assist in HR projects and process improvement initiatives when required. HR Projects & Continuous Improvement Participate in HR projects, process improvement initiatives, and policy reviews. Prepare HR reports and maintain HR metrics as required. Support digitalisation and system enhancement initiatives within the HR function. Ad-hoc Duties Perform other HR-related duties and administrative tasks as assigned by the HR Manager or Management. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Administrative Studies, or a related field. Minimum 4 years of hands-on HR and payroll experience preferred. Working knowledge of Singapore employment laws and regulations. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Able to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. Good interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
