Construction Manager

Project Management Plan, coordinate, and supervise all construction activities on-site Develop project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones Monitor progress and resolve any delays or site issues Site Supervision Oversee daily site operations and ensure smooth workflow Manage site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications Cost & Budget Control Monitor project costs and ensure work stays within budget Review and approve material requisitions and site expenses Work with QS (Quantity Surveyor) on cost tracking and variations Quality Control Ensure construction works meet company and regulatory standards Implement quality assurance and quality control procedures Rectify defects and ensure proper handover standards Safety Management Enforce workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations Conduct safety briefings and toolbox meetings Ensure compliance with MOM and BCA safety requirements Coordination & Communication Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, and engineers Coordinate with authorities for permits and inspections Report project updates to senior management regularly Documentation Maintain site records, progress reports, and inspection reports Ensure proper documentation for claims, variations, and approvals Requirements Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Prefer 5–10 years of experience in construction industry Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction methods Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and large teams Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience in Singapore construction environment is preferred
