Infant/ Toddler Teachers

Responsibilities: Reporting to the Principal, the infant/ toddler teacher is responsible for the care, supervision and management of a class of infants/toddlers in accord with the goals and curriculum plan of the centre Develop and deliver the programs for the 2-36 months old infant/toddler based on the curriculum framework; Build a good relationship with children and parents; Plan and carry out the daily programme, development and care giving tasks assigned Observe and assess infant’s developmental growth, learning and development of infants and toddlers through interactive and stimulating experience. Equip children with life skills and cultivate values that will prepare them to be lifelong learners. Conduct lessons according to school’s curriculum and enrichment programme Ensure that daily care routines are carried out in a manner that is prompt, hygienic, and consistent with the good child development principles including diapering, eating, napping, and transitioning between activities Ensure the safety of children through constant supervision, effective arrangement of space, and proper maintenance of equipment Create an open, friendly, and cooperative atmosphere in which children and parents feel comfortable and secure Provide experiences that promote individual expression through conversation, play, and creative interaction
