Project Engineer

We are a leading power grid infrastructure company specializing incomprehensive electrical and telecommunication installation services. Our expertise includes the construction of underground pipelines for power cables, installation of high-tension and low-voltage power systems, and deployment of telecommunication cables. We also undertake the construction of telecom and street light manholes, erection of street lighting poles, and landscaping works to complement our electrical installations. Looking for : Project Engineer (Construction) Salary Range: SGD 3,500 - SGD 4,000 Location: Joo Koon Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and supervise site activities for underground power cable and telecommunication pipeline installations. Manage project execution from design review to commissioning, ensuring alignment with engineering specifications and client requirements. Liaise with government authorities (e.g., LTA, SP Group, and Telecom operators) for permits, inspections, and compliance matters. Oversee construction of telecom and street light manholes, cable laying, and reinstatement works. Lead site teams and subcontractors to achieve project milestones efficiently and safely. Monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines. Ensure proper resource allocation - manpower, equipment, and materials to meet daily operational needs. Conduct site inspections to verify quality, safety, and adherence to design standards. Prepare and review technical documentation, drawings, and reports for submission to clients and authorities. Support project budgeting, cost tracking, and procurement processes. Uphold workplace safety and environmental standards in accordance with statutory regulations. Coordinate installation and testing of street lighting poles and electrical systems. Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Civil, Electrical, or Construction Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification. 5–10 years of relevant experience in power grid, underground cable, or telecommunication infrastructure projects. Hands-on experience with SP Group and LTA systems is highly preferred. Strong understanding of cable installation, manhole construction, and reinstatement processes. Familiarity with project management tools, AUTO CAD and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting. Excellent coordination and communication skills with clients, contractors, and authorities. Ability to lead site teams and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and extended hours when required.
