🚐 Join Our Team as Ambulance Driver (Island wide Locations). This is a full-time position with potentially rotating shifts, including days, nights and weekends. As a Ambulance Driver at Lentor Ambulance, you will serve as the primary provider of both Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Medical Transport Services to patients during transit. This role includes operating Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAV) safely and efficiently. 💼Job Responsibilities Operate vehicles in compliance with all traffic regulations, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and all occupants. Apply appropriate driving techniques, including the use of emergency lights and sirens when required. Plan and select optimal routes, taking into account traffic conditions to ensure timely arrival. Assist medical personnel with the safe loading and unloading of patients using proper lifting techniques and equipment. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients during transport. Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and accompanying persons when conveying necessary information needed. Provide basic first aid or CPR within the scope of training when required. Perform pre-shift vehicle checks to ensure all systems, supplies and equipment are functioning properly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle, especially the patient care area. Report any equipment faults or maintenance issues promptly. Accurately record details of patient transport, including mileage, travel time, and other required data in accordance with SOPs. Complete all necessary documentation related to transport activities. Assist with scheduling and dispatch duties when required. Provide standby support for medical coverage at events. Deliver items related to patient care when required. Support operations at any assigned venue or contracted location. Perform any additional ad hoc duties assigned by supervisors. Requirements 1 GCE ‘N’ Level Pass or Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level 4 Class 4 driving license (minimum 1 yrs driving experience) Have Defensive Driving or Higher (optional) Passionate to help people Able to speak & write in English Able to work shifts include Day, Night, weekends & Public Holidays.
