About this role
To manage and coordinate the production of quality shop drawings and BIM models in all projects assigned with minimal supervision. He/ She must be able to carry out HVAC/piping-related drawings. To produce 2D drawings from BIM models with accuracy ensuring drawings produced are according to the Project or the Client’s Drafting Standards and Procedures, and that the drawing submission schedule is achieved. Maintain proper records of all issued & received models/drawings, Clash Reports, RFIs, etc. BIM Register following the company’s ISO Standards and Procedures and ensuring all the drawings are completed on schedule or promptly. Perform regular drawing backups and housekeeping work in the directory The secondary role includes developing technical plans, sections, details, and 2D/3D schematic diagrams using AutoCAD and in-house software. Accountable for the fluent/organized presentation, content correctness/accuracy of shop drawings production in form, fit, and function through thorough coordinates with other trades and services in 2D/ 3D submission. Responsible for ensuring full compliance with the company’s Shop Drawings Standard Operation Procedure, including adherence to design provision/scope of work according to contractual obligations. Generate a clash report based on the Matrix provided Work under the supervision of the Project Manager and perform the work tasks assigned. Experience / Skills Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant disciplines. Preferably with a minimum of 2 years of working experience in space planning, and design coordination, preferably on different scales of projects within engineering design consulting business. Having good knowledge of software such as Revit, and AutoCAD. Knowledge in Isometric drawings, LOD 350, and Plant 3D will be added advantages Good planning skills in managing modeling and drafting work. Possess strong initiative, and ability to work independently and within a team environment when required. Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
