Technical Architect – Job Description Job Summary The Technical Architect or Technical Manager is responsible for designing and governing end-to-end system architecture, ensuring technical consistency across applications, integrations, infrastructure, and environments. This role works closely with business stakeholders, project teams, vendors, and regional/global teams to define scalable and reliable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and project objectives. The Technical Architect also supports technical governance, solution reviews, risk management, and cross-system coordination across various industry domains and large-scale enterprise projects. This dual role requires a strong technical background combined with proven experience in managing and delivering complex projects. The ideal candidate will lead our technical team, ensuring high-quality deliverables, while also overseeing the end-to-end delivery process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. This role bridges business requirements, architecture, and delivery , ensuring reliable, scalable, and secure integrations across applications, partners and external systems. Key Responsibilities 1. Solution Architecture &Design Design end-to-end system architecture and integration architecture. Define application interaction, interface standards and data flows. Review business and technical requirements to propose optimal technical solutions. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards. Support architecture decisions across multiple systems and platforms. 2. Technical Governance Lead technical reviews and architecture validation activities. Ensure technical compliance with project standards and governance processes. Identify architectural risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans. Support technical issue resolution and escalation management. Maintain architecture documentation and technical standards. 3. Stakeholder & Cross-team Coordination Coordinate with business users, development teams, infrastructure teams, and external vendors. Collaborate with regional/global stakeholders for solution alignment. Support communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders. Facilitate technical workshops, meetings, and solution discussions. Provide technical guidance to project teams throughout project lifecycle. 4. Integration & Environment Management Support interface and middleware architecture design. Coordinate system integration activities across internal and external systems. Support environment strategy, deployment planning, and release coordination. Monitor system dependencies and technical impacts across applications. Support DR, resiliency and operational readiness planning. 5. Integration Architecture & Design Lead the end-to-end integration architecture using TIBCO and Boomi. Define integration patterns (sync/async, pub-sub, event-driven, API-led). Design high availability, fault-tolerant, and scalable integration solutions. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards . 6. Delivery & Technical Leadership Act as technical lead for integration delivery across projects/programs. Guide teams on best practices, coding standards, and design patterns . Review integration designs, mappings, error handling, and performance tuning. Own end-to-end integration delivery , from design to production support. 7. Platform Expertise (TIBCO & Boomi) TIBCO Hands-on expertise in TIBCO BW/BW6, EMS, Hawk, API Exchange . Experience in SOAP/REST services, JMS, file, and database integrations . Performance tuning, fault handling, and monitoring in TIBCO environments. Boomi Design and build integrations using Boomi AtomSphere . Manage Atoms, Molecules and Clouds . Implement API Management, Partner Management and EDI integrations . Handle complex mappings, error handling, and retries . 8. Documentation & Reporting Prepare architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and design documents.
