Purchaser / Senior Purchaser

Job Responsibilities Issue of PO and update in purchasing system Shipment co-ordination with vendor, customer and shipping agents for import and export with knowledge of Bill of Lading, permits and BCA approval Oversees stock control and support project materials delivery requirements Maintain good working relationships with new and existing key suppliers to manage delivery and product quality Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and oversea vendors Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project Advise internal and external on issues regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements Job Requirements Familiar with Materials, Machineries & Equipment's in Construction Sector. Min Diploma or its equivalent with minimum 3 years’ experience in the Building Construction Industry A team player with good leadership and interpersonal skills 5 days work week We offer attractive remuneration package to the right candidate.
