Nurse Manager

The Nurse Manager leads the team effectively and coordinates, manages and evaluates the services of the Home. The Nurse Manager ensures that high standards of nursing care and resident safety are delivered at all times in accordance with legal, professional and ENHS (Enhanced Nursing Home Standards) requirements. 1. Clinical Accountable and responsible for the standards of resident care and management of the wards. Serves as a resource person in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of health status and needs of residents. Comply with policies / procedures related to the provisions of safe and ethical care to residents. Such procedures include infection control, administration of medication, fire safety and evacuation procedures. Making provision for the compliance of all healthcare staff. Undertake teaching and resource role in nursing practice for staff. Provides continuous supervision to all healthcare staff on duty. 2. Management Ensure that operational delivery of nursing policies is compliant at ward level and nursing home level. Appraise yearly work performance of healthcare staff working in the team. Inform, disseminate and update relevant information from MOH pertaining to the care of residents to all healthcare staff from time to time. 3. Staff Development Orientate and guide new staff nurses in the operation of the wards. Identify healthcare staffs’ potential for further development. Conduct trainings for nurses. Ensure that the training and the training hours of each Nursing staff meet the requirements of MOH/AIC/LKHSC etc. Requirement Candidate must possess a degree or diploma in Nursing. At least 5 years of clinical with management experience. Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board. Strong project management skills and experience. Thrives in a fast-paced environment with constant deadlines. Able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders. Good communication skills and team player.
