Laser Application Engineer (Cad & Production)

Job Summary Design and produce product samples using CAD software and laser equipment while supporting product development, fabrication, and customer applications. Key Responsibilities CAD Design & Product Development Prepare production drawings using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software Design and create prototypes, product samples, and demonstration pieces Modify and optimize customer artwork and technical drawings for production Laser Equipment Operation Set up, operate, and maintain laser cutting and laser engraving equipment Perform machine calibration and parameter adjustments for different materials Conduct testing and quality inspection on completed products Product Applications & Innovation Develop new applications and product ideas using laser technology Produce marketing and demonstration samples for customer presentations Work closely with sales and marketing teams on product development initiatives Contribute innovative ideas for new products and applications Technical Support Provide technical guidance on machine settings and production parameters Assist customers with material selection and application requirements Support product demonstrations and training sessions when required Requirements Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Design, or related disciplines Experience using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent CAD software Experience operating laser cutting, laser engraving, CNC, or fabrication equipment preferred Strong hands-on technical aptitude Interest in product development, prototyping, and fabrication Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Able to work independently and as part…
