About this role

Job Description: Set up and operate manual and CNC machines (milling, lathe, grinding) to machine casting or steel materials from raw or semi-finished state to finished parts in accordance with engineering drawings. Perform machine and job setup, including fixture and tooling setup, alignment, offset setting, and tool changes to ensure machining accuracy and repeatability. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately, including tolerances and work instructions, to achieve zero-defect production. Possess a basic understanding of CNC programming, including machine setup verification and making necessary process adjustments when required. Accurately record job operation time in the MOM system. Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure compliance with dimensional and quality requirements. Carry out basic machine maintenance, daily checks, and ensure proper care of tools, fixtures, and measuring instruments. Maintain 5S standards and ensure good housekeeping practices within the work area. Comply with all safety, EHS , and quality requirements, including hazard identification and reporting. Safely perform lifting and material handling operations using overhead cranes, hoists, and powered industrial trucks, where authorized. New hire is required to undergo specific Audiometric tests for who are exposed to certain occupational hazards. Follow the workplace safety and health system, safe work procedures or safety rules implemented at the workplace. Job Requirements: Minimum NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field High level of responsibility, discipline, and attention to detail. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Hands-on competence in manual and CNC machining operations is a plus. Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and measurement techniques is a plus. Safety-conscious with proper handling of machines and lifting equipment. Good teamwork, initiative to learn, and commitment to assigned tasks
