BMS Senior Application Engineer

Responsible for the project management work of Building Management System (BMS) Proficiency in Programmable Logic Controller, SCADA and DDC Controllers customized development and implementation for redundant system architectures on HVAC applications including chiller systems. Participate in the development of application infrastructure reference architecture, system integration and acceptance and infrastructure performance testing, including new application system initiatives. Familiarity with Infrastructure Automation methodologies and technology Design, control, and implement electrical systems and Direct Digital Control products Ensure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards Master all technical aspects of the Project: design, integration, testing, FAT, installation, commissioning, warranty. Validate technical choices in compliance with the design based on technical design process. Manage stakeholders involved in the execution. Perform quality and performance analysis on new and legacy IT systems with perform documentation relating to the project properly and promptly dealt with in the correct contractual manner. Production and control of RFI's, production of related design, engineering and commissioning documentation and operating and maintenance manuals in line with project requirements. Management of IT infrastructure operations, monitoring of events, performance metrics, design & control production processes in ensuring ICT operations are efficient and effective, with alignment to ITIL principles. Be responsible for one, or both, on-premise and cloud application infrastructure services to support application systems environments by collaborating with partners such as business analyst, solution architects and digital services managers. Constantly strive to improve efficiency of the Engineering Solutions through use of standards, tools, best practice and lessons learned associated to Controls Strategy, Programming, Graphics, Database generation, testing and Engineering Documentation to final Operation & Maintenance Manual. Identify any potential changes on the job versus the contract or agreed design. Work closely with the Project Manager to specify the change and its implications including the quotation until getting the variation order which will contribute to Project Margin Improvement. Work in multiple projects to provide insights to different stakeholders to support business decisions Work in close collaboration with the customer’s project teams, consultants, main contractor, 3rd party vendors, ACMV Systems & technical leaders for sub-parts to understand the project milestones & deliverables and contribute to the overall profitability of projects and to achieve high level of customer satisfaction Work in a target oriented team, aimed at concrete outcomes. Requirements Engineering Diploma / Bachelor degree related to Electronic Communication Instrumentation, Networks, Computer Science or any related field 7 years leading technical projects or as Solution Application Engineer for large and international Customer projects 7 years in this technical field of expertise (DDC, PLC / SCADA Systems) Proven expertise OR ability to learn and excel very fast with new BMS/EPMS platforms Good communication skills. Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally – with people from different levels, backgrounds and experiences. Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Experience or coursework with Robotics, Computer Vision and Data analysis would be an advantage
