The Sales Executive is responsible for generating sales opportunities, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, preparing quotations and tenders, coordinating project requirements, and achieving the company's sales targets for low voltage switchboards and related electrical products and services. Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the electrical, construction, industrial, commercial, and infrastructure sectors. Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, main contractors, electrical contractors, panel builders, facility managers, and end-users. Promote the company's low voltage switchboards, distribution boards, and related electrical solutions. Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and technical discussions to understand customer requirements. Achieve individual sales targets and contribute towards the company's revenue growth. Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings. Coordinate with the engineering and production teams to ensure quotations are technically compliant and commercially competitive. Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and delivery schedules with customers. Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, production, and logistics departments to ensure smooth execution of awarded projects. Monitor project progress and keep customers informed of production and delivery status. Assist in resolving project issues and customer concerns promptly. Maintain regular communication with existing customers to secure repeat business. Respond promptly to customer enquiries and provide technical and commercial support. Handle customer feedback and work closely with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction. Develop long-term relationships with key accounts. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management. Maintain accurate customer records, quotations, and project documentation. Follow up on outstanding quotations and sales opportunities. Ensure all sales documentation is properly maintained and filed. Monitor customer payment status and work closely with the Accounts Department to ensure timely collections. Assist in resolving commercial issues related to invoices, delivery, and contractual matters. Ensure all purchase orders, contracts, and variation orders are properly documented. Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer requirements. Gather market information to identify new opportunities and improve the company's competitiveness. Recommend new products or market strategies based on customer feedback. Attend site meetings, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and customer meetings when required. Participate in exhibitions, networking events, and industry activities. Comply with the company's Quality, Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), and Environmental policies. Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
