Job Highlights Financial Perks: 13th-month bonus Health & Wellness: Comprehensive medical insurance coverage Job Responsibilities Independent Survey Execution: Conduct end-to-end bunker quantity and quality surveys (BQS) onboard vessels and bunker tankers independently, ensuring precise measurements and data integrity. Technical Documentation: Prepare, verify, and issue comprehensive BQS reports that clearly document all findings, calculations, and operational data. Discrepancy & Dispute Management: Promptly identify, investigate, and report any quantity or quality variances, discrepancies, or non-compliance issues. Provide clear, professional recommendations to resolve disputes effectively. Regulatory Compliance: Execute all surveying operations in strict accordance with the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) regulations and the latest international maritime standards. Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary onsite liaison, coordinating proactively with Shipping Agents, Bunker Suppliers, and Clients to facilitate smooth on-arrival surveys and efficient turnarounds. Job Requirements Professional License: Must hold a valid, active Bunker Surveyor License issued by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) . (Applications without this cannot be considered). Education: Minimum Diploma qualification in a Marine-related discipline (e.g., Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, Nautical Studies). Industry Experience: Prior experience in bunker surveying or marine operations is highly advantageous (promising candidates with the right license and drive are welcome to apply). Field Readiness: Physically fit and comfortable boarding vessels and bunker tankers under varying operational conditions.
