Job Summary You will oversee and coordinate contractors to ensure timely, safe, and quality construction works for building projects, verifying compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Coordinate multiple contractors to ensure seamless execution of construction works according to project timelines Develop and agree on detailed work programmes and site plan representations to guide project progress Verify that contractors receive all necessary drawings, instructions, and authorizations aligned with the agreed programme Monitor timely ordering of materials and acquisition of required permits to prevent project delays Enforce safety protocols on-site and maintain site security throughout construction activities Identify faulty workmanship or materials and issue clear instructions for rectification to uphold quality standards Inspect layout lines and levels during structural erection to ensure adherence to contract drawings Check structural elements including slabs, beams, columns, and reinforcements to confirm compliance with design intent Required competencies and certifications Recognised Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering Valid RE Accreditation Certificate from IES Minimum 5 years of postgraduate experience supervising building projects, including design and supervision as a Registered Engineer (R.E.) Proficient knowledge of the Building Contract Act and Regulations, with ability to administer contracts, maintain site records, and meet reporting requirements under the Building Control Act Experience in precast concrete and structural steel construction Preferred competencies and qualifications Applicants with combined design and supervision experience as R.E. will be favourably considered Other Information Location: Woodleigh (near MRT) Project: A&A Underpass passage network Contract duration: 24 months (estimate) Start date: Able to start work by mid Jul 2026
