Technology Scouting and Partnerships Executive

ISD confronts and addresses threats to Singapore’s internal security and stability. As a Technology Scouting and Partnerships Executive, you will be part of a team that helps to drive innovation by pulling in innovative ideas, products and capabilities for internal adoption and active use. You will take on the following roles and responsibilities: - Seek out promising technology start-up with innovative start-up solutions for possible adoption - Engage and manage industry partners and internal stakeholders to scope objectives and propose engagement strategies - Engage and manage research collaborations and field trials with both overseas and local tertiary institutions / consultants / vendors / partners on research projects or initiatives in the Fields of Interest (please see below) - Monitor industry and technology trends to formulate appropriate engagement strategies and identify promising partners Fields of Interest Applicants should be preferably knowledgeable or proficient in at least one of the below fields: - Physical or protective security - Audio, video & multimedia analytics - Artificial Intelligence and machine learning - Internet platforms and services - IoT & wearables - Cybersecurity, APT & malware - Emerging technologies (e.g. Generative AI, Quantum Technologies, Distributed Ledger Technologies) - Good command of written and spoken English - Able to go on overseas travel - Able to exercise good judgement in determining problem resolutions & approaches to solutions - Able to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment - Experience in project management and/or knowledge of other languages would be advantageous - Only Singaporeans need apply We wish to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
