Job Description Implement and manage security measures to protect systems and networks from potential threats. Monitor and analyse security alerts, ensuring prompt response to incidents. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security policies and standards. Provide technical guidance on the implementation of secure systems and applications. Maintain and update security protocols and documentation as required. Assist in the investigation of security breaches and recommend corrective measures. Stay updated on emerging threats and advancements in cyber security technologies. Leading in coordination efforts with selected vendors for the assigned workstreams (VA, PT, Source Code Review, Risk Assessments, Red Team etc.) Performing periodic penetration testing on web applications. Review the risk assessments performed by various teams on the identified vulnerabilities. Drive the scheduling of the workstream program and remediation timelines. Present management reporting and dashboarding to stakeholders, with analysis of data and trends, and recommend next steps. Follow up on remediation actions, security and risk assessments with respective stakeholders and applications teams. The Successful Applicant A successful Cyber Security Engineer should have: A strong understanding of network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
