As a Supplier Manager (Individual Contributor), you will be the primary category point of contact for supplier interactions, performance management, and negotiations for the site. In this role, you will work with internal and external partners to execute and drive site category strategies and projects related for continued sourcing success, which may include cost reduction initiatives, supply base optimization, and pricing/contract negotiation, driving best-in-class, cost, supply and resilience. Key Responsibilities Supply Assurance & Procurement Operations Develop supply assurance strategies and ensure inventory levels are met. Drive materials capacity readiness and work on supply shortage resolutions with Global and Regional Category Managers/s and internal partners. Analyze sourcing needs and make recommendations to stakeholders for assigned categories. Identify local and regional supplier opportunities to assist with the category strategies Monitor stakeholder satisfaction with key suppliers. Collaborate with Stakeholders to deliver Strategic and Alternate Source enablements Cost Management & Analysis Support expense and cost savings management Drive cost savings monitoring and track metrics achievement Implement cost savings and process improvement programs Negotiation & Regional Sourcing Lead regional negotiation with suppliers to meet site business needs Lead regional sourcing events/RFQ process and provide inputs for category management plans Process Improvement Identify automation opportunities and develop scalable AI solutions that become building blocks for future projects. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Materials Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field of study. 0-3 years of experience in supplier management. Experience in using data analytical tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, Python, Robotic Process Automation) preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a persuasive advocate. Comfortable with cost tracking and proven negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage interpersonal relationships and effectively drive business needs. Self-motivated and proactive individual who is comfortable working in a global, fast-paced environment with dynamic supply chain challenges. Responsible for obtaining materials, components, equipment, and services. Performs cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities. Acquires and maintains technical understanding of products purchased. Coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to maintain inventory at planned levels. As required, monitors the cost, schedule, and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value. May recommend cost saving proposals including make vs. buy analysis, alternative sourcing, and vendor evaluation criteria.
