Engineer - Facilities Ultra-Pure Water & Wastewater

Plan, coordinate and supervise day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Ultra-Pure Water (UPW), Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), Local Scrubber Recycling system (LSR) and other water treatment systems to maintain maximum equipment uptime and reliability. Coordinate and liaise with contractors/vendors to implement corrective maintenance (CM) and preventive maintenance (PM) programs. Study, plan and execute engineering projects and engineering solutions including upgrades, retrofits, system expansion and maintenance. Support and enforce safety compliance and government regulations. Initiate, evaluate, plan, design and supervise improvement/upgrading/new projects for relevant water systems. Propose, plan and execute water recycling projects to reduce overall water consumption whenever possible in meeting the Long-term Sustainability goal. Plan, design and lead Control Automation engineering projects includes new construction, system upgrading and quality improvement. Attain environmental sustainability roadmap through green initiative. Improve water and waste recyclability rate by embarking to new technology breakthrough. Identification, evaluation, and potential implementation of advanced technology on Water systems to improve electricity, waste or water reduction to align to Micron Environment Sustainability efforts. Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements. Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work. Qualifications for Facilities Engineer: Possess a bachelor's in chemical engineering At least 3 years of hands-on experience in operation and maintenance for water treatment systems such as UPW, WWT, Reclaim and DIW.
