Job Summary Join MIN HAWK PTE LTD as a Quantity Surveyor to manage financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities Prepare and analyse cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports to ensure accurate project financial management Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms and control costs Measure and value construction work, including variations and claims, to maintain accurate project cost records Advise on procurement strategies and assist with tendering processes to optimize project sourcing Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to mitigate risks Provide expert advice and support to project teams to enhance financial decision-making and project outcomes Required competencies and certifications Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry Preferred competencies and qualifications Proficient in quantity surveying software and data analysis tools to improve accuracy and efficiency Excellent understanding of construction contracts, cost management, and project controls to manage project finances effectively Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail to identify and resolve financial issues Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across teams Familiarity with the local construction industry and regulations to ensure compliance
