Senior Executive / Executive (Surveillance & Enforcement) – Crime Scene Forensic

You will be part of a team responsible for strengthening crime scene management and forensic response capabilities in support of investigation, enforcement and intelligence operations. As a Crime Scene Forensic Officer, you will support the proper management, documentation, examination and processing of crime scenes, ensuring that potential evidence is identified, preserved, recovered and handled in a manner that maintains evidential integrity and supports downstream forensic examination and court proceedings. You will work closely with investigators, forensic specialists, enforcement officers and other stakeholders to provide operational support at scenes, develop crime scene processes, and uplift forensic awareness and competency across frontline and investigative units. You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time. Crime Scene Response and Management — Attend and support the management of crime scenes, incident scenes and other scenes of forensic interest. You will conduct systematic assessment, documentation, photography, sketching, search, recovery and preservation of physical and trace evidence, while ensuring proper scene control, contamination prevention and safety management. You will advise officers on proper handling, packaging, labelling and submission of exhibits, and maintain chain of custody and accountability for all recovered exhibits. Forensic Support to Investigations — Work with investigators and forensic specialists to identify evidence sources and appropriate forensic strategies. You will support the collection and preservation of evidence including biological traces, fingerprints, footwear marks, tool marks, fibres, documents, weapons and electronic devices, and prepare scene documentation, reports and statements for investigation or court purposes. Capability Development and Process Improvement — Develop and review crime scene management workflows, SOPs, checklists, equipment lists and evidence-handling procedures. You will validate and implement new crime scene equipment, techniques and technologies, participate in exercises and after-action reviews, and identify operational gaps to propose practical improvements. Training and Stakeholder Engagement — Plan and deliver forensic awareness and crime scene management training for officers. You will develop training materials, practical scenarios and competency-based assessments, engage internal and external stakeholders to promote good crime scene practices, and document lessons learnt and operational learning points. Governance, Quality and Readiness — Ensure crime scene processes comply with established procedures, safety requirements, legal considerations and evidential standards. You will maintain readiness of crime scene equipment and operational resources, support audits and quality assurance activities, and keep abreast of developments in forensic science and crime scene investigation methods. We are looking for candidates who are operationally grounded, meticulous and committed to supporting investigations through sound forensic practice. Qualification: Training in forensic science, sciences, criminology, criminal justice, security studies or a related discipline is preferred. Experience: Experience in crime scene operations, forensic examinations, investigations, enforcement operations, laboratory operations or evidence management is advantageous. Prior experience in crime scene processing, forensic photography, evidence recovery, fingerprint development, trace evidence handling or exhibit management is a highly desirable. Familiarity with forensic laboratory processes, investigation workflows, chain of custody requirements and court processes would be an added advantage.
