Manager/Assistant Director, Leadership Planning

As a member of the Human Resource Section’s Leadership Planning team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing talent management strategies that align with MND’s business priorities and future manpower needs. This involves working with stakeholders and HR teams across the MND Family, including partner agencies such as PSD, to attract, develop and retain key talent, and to groom them for leadership roles within the organisation. Key focus areas could include: a) Partnering with line divisions to identify talent needs and implement effective strategies to attract the right talent; b) Identifying training and development needs to support officers’ career development and growth, such as reviewing leadership milestone programmes and various talent development initiatives; and c) Building an adequate pipeline of successors for key leadership positions, which includes ensuring a healthy renewal for our MND Family Boards. To achieve these outcomes, you will drive and coordinate the review of HR policies, utilise HR data to assess the effectiveness of talent management initiatives, and implement programmes to ensure a positive and engaged workforce. You will also drive data analytics initiatives to support informed decision-making on MND Family workforce and operations through data-driven insights and analytics, and work on digitalisation projects to transform processes and enhance operational efficiency across MND. In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in projects and process improvement initiatives, as well as staff meetings deliberating these issues involving MND senior management and other stakeholders. 1. Have some relevant HR experience, otherwise have a strong interest in developing a long-term career in HR 2. Enjoys writing, planning and strong policy acumen 3. Able to manage time well and thrive in a fast-paced environment 4. Able to manage stakeholders vis-à-vis business needs well 5. Have some knowledge and experience in using data analytics and visualisation tools and generative AI tools
