The Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF)’s Enabling Division (EN) is the policy directorate responsible for policy matters concerning persons with disabilities and their caregivers and coordinates these issues across the whole of Government. Our work is guided by the Enabling Masterplan 2030 (EMP2030) and MSF’s commitment to build a more caring, inclusive, and fair society in Singapore, to empower and enable them to achieve their potential. We partner SG Enable to develop and review relevant policies and programmes, and collaborate with stakeholders across the public, people and private sectors to better support persons with disabilities and their caregivers. As a Manager/Senior Manager, you will be seconded to a dynamic team that drives and coordinates national caregiver support initiatives in areas such as care navigation, financial support, caregiver empowerment and training, respite care services and workplace support. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time. As part of this team, your roles will involve: • Developing and driving next bound caregiver support strategies and long-term direction for caregiver support efforts. • Working closely with key agencies and stakeholders to drive policy and service development and delivery in alignment with national caregiver support strategies. This entails monitoring and analysing population trends and citizen feedback and identifying areas for review to strengthen caregiver support. • Developing enablers, indicators, and communications and engagement efforts in support of caregiver support strategies. • Relevant working experience in social services, healthcare and/or policy formulation is an advantage. • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills. • Meticulous and comfortable with numbers. • Highly motivated and able to effectively work in a team in a fast-paced and challenging environment. • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to work with and bring on board multiple stakeholders with diverse interests. • Good written and verbal communication skills. • Minimum 2 years of working experience.
