For over 20years, we have designed human-led experiences—corporate conferences, brand activations, immersive installations, and multi-sensorial environments—that move people and businesses into action. We work across three pillars: Content and Communications, Events and Spaces, and People and Culture. Our work spans the full experience lifecycle: from strategic concept and creative platform through to spatial direction, content production, and live activation. The Role The Creative Director is Motion's senior creative authority, the person who sets the concept, directs the execution, and holds the creative vision together from pitch to floor. You translate client objectives into experiences that can be built, activated, and felt—directing across spatial design, content, visual, and sensorial detail simultaneously. You are the creative through-line that keeps the work coherent when strategy, production timelines, and client expectations are all in play. You will own the pitch. You will own the concept. You will own the room. Reporting to the Executive Producer, you will partner with team leads, production, and our ecosystem of creative partners to deliver work that drives real business results. Key Responsibilities ● Creative Direction & Strategy ○ Unpack and research a brief, then set and own the creative vision across Motion's work—establishing the core idea, the experience narrative, and the creative platform that guides all downstream decisions ○ Develop creative strategy that brings sensory intelligence to life, from conceptualisation to activation ○ Lead ideation and concepting on key client briefs, pitches, and proposals, ensuring ideas are distinctive, commercially viable and aligned to business objectives ○ Manage end to end the experience journey and storytelling, and be able to sell this internally and externally ○ Champion innovative solutions to solve client challenges—no matter the format—to push creative boundaries and inspire clients and team members ● Client & Commercial Engagement ○ Partner with the Executive Producer and account leads to develop compelling creative responses to client briefs across diverse formats and industries ○ Translate complex client challenges into clear, compelling creative platforms that are both inspiring and commercially viable ○ Lead orco-lead creative presentations and pitches: build the narrative, own the room, and hold the high quality of conversation at every client touchpoint ○ Identify and flag creative-commercial gaps: where briefs are underspecified, budgets are misaligned, or scope risks quality ● Craft, Production & Quality ○ Maintain final creative accountability across all projects, ensuring voice, aesthetics, and concept integrity are preserved from brief to delivery ○ Storyboard, sketch, direct, and where appropriate, produce creative outputs across relevant disciplines ○ Resource creative production intelligently, knowing when to build in-house versus bring in specialist external talent ○ Deliver on time and on budget, without sacrificing the standard that defines Motion’s work ● Team, Talent & Culture ○ Inspire, guide and raise the creative output of Motion’s team, providing clear direction, honest feedback, and genuine mentorship ○ Foster a creative environment where experimentation is encouraged and craft is respected ○ Build and steward relationships with external creative talent, studios and partners, expanding Motion’s creative network internationally and across disciplines Requirements Skillset ● You have at least 10 years of experience in creative leadership: agency, production, or a hybrid creative-strategy context ● You have a strong portfolio of work across brand activations, live events, spatial environments, and content—built across multiple formats and i…
