Mechanical & Piping Engineer

Mechanical & Piping Engineer (Water & Wastewater) Responsibilities Design mechanical and piping systems for water and wastewater treatment plants at concept, functional, preliminary, and detailed stages to meet project requirements Prepare layouts, pipe routing, piping isometrics, general arrangement drawings, 3D models, and material take-offs to support construction and procurement Manage field changes and maintain accurate as-built documentation to ensure project accuracy and compliance Review and evaluate vendor submissions to verify technical compliance and quality standards Coordinate cross-disciplinary teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards Perform document control including managing drawings, submissions, reports, transmittals, and revision tracking to maintain project records Support procurement activities by preparing RFQs, coordinating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, expediting deliveries, and planning inventory Lead meetings and discussions with clients, contractors, and vendors to facilitate communication and resolve issues Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and project specifications throughout project execution Required competencies and certifications Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline Minimum 3 years’ experience in mechanical and piping design for water and wastewater treatment plants Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD applications for design and documentation Familiarity with engineering and project documentation, including drawings, material submissions, and shipping documents Strong organizational, communication, and task management skills to effectively manage multiple project tasks Ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment Eligibility: Only Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Residents may apply Preferred competencies and qualifications Immediate or short-notice availability is advantageous Other Information Work location: 5 minutes’ walk from Tuas West Road MRT station
