Research Associate (Ecology/Biogeochemistry/Earth Science/Soil Science/Environmental Science/Hydrology/Computer Science)

The role focuses on developing a process-guided and AI-assisted soil community foundation model for natural climate solutions. Key tasks include optimizing soil organic carbon, rock weathering, and crop models, as well as developing physics-informed deep learning algorithms. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in ecology, biogeochemistry, computer science, or a related field with familiarity in soil carbon/element cycles. Prior experience in process-based modeling, deep learning, or Earth system model simulation is preferred.
